Below are basic points to follow to prevent unwanted access to the business via computer access.
Do:
- Report any suspicious activity and emails to your I.T Team as soon as possible.
- Call if equipment is lost or stolen to manager or I.T Team.
- Keep passwords in safe place and stored in a secure location.
- Block or report strange emails to I.T Team.
- Scan your computer often and scan any usb keys you insert into computer.
Don'ts:
- Do Not share your password with anyone.
- Do not write and stick passwords to the computer
- Do Not use the same business password when registering on any online systems.
- Do Not leave your computer when in public alone and lock it often.
- Do not talk out aloud your passwords.
