Below are basic points to follow to prevent unwanted access to the business via computer access. 

 

Do: 

  1. Report any suspicious activity and emails to your I.T Team as soon as possible. 
  2. Call if equipment is lost or stolen to manager or I.T Team. 
  3. Keep passwords in safe place and stored in a secure location. 
  4. Block or report strange emails to I.T Team. 
  5. Scan your computer often and scan any usb keys you insert into computer. 

 

Don'ts: 

  1. Do Not share your password with anyone. 
  2. Do not write and stick passwords to the computer
  3. Do Not use the same business password when registering on any online systems. 
  4. Do Not leave your computer when in public alone and lock it often.
  5. Do not talk out aloud your passwords.
